NoDa Landing, a vibrant condo community located in the heart of NoDa, just got a little more colorful—and a lot more meaningful. Late this fall, the walls of the community came alive with a stunning mural created through the collaborative efforts of a visionary muralist trio led by Sydney Duarte (@traveling_gypsy, @duarte_designs), and Treazy Treaz (@treazytreaz).

A Symbol of Community Spirit

The mural at NoDa Landing goes beyond being a simple visual enhancement—it stands as a true celebration of the community. Its vibrant design draws in residents and visitors alike, creating a natural gathering place and sparking conversations.

The communities of NoDa and Plaza Midwood have long been known for their eclectic charm and inclusive spirit. This mural beautifully reflects that same essence, serving as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through collaboration and creativity.

"They took the time to understand the feeling we wanted and they were amazing to work with. About the Artists

The mural project at NoDa Landing was born from a vision: to create a piece of art that truly reflects the vibrant, diverse, and welcoming community it represents. The Charlotte-based traveling trio behind the mural includes the mother-daughter duo of Duarte Designs (Sydney and Anne Duarte) and Treazy Treaz. 

Each artist brought their own unique style and perspective to the table, resulting in a design that’s both cohesive and multifaceted. In addition to this mural, they have also been involved in several other high-profile art projects around Charlotte, including Luminious Lane - a notable street art installation in Uptown that brought together over 52 artists that turned an entire street into a walking display of public art.  Another standout project that showcases their creative power is the large-scale structure they designed for Burning Man.
